The Simpsons are now the longest running TV show ever!!!
They are coming up to the 500th episode soon.
The simpsons first appeared on the Tracy Ullman Show April 19th,1987.
FOX announced that they would be buying two more seasons on Thursday.
The current longest running TV show is Gunsmoke a western action show that went for two decades until it was stopped in 1975.
My fav episode is The Springfield Files what's yours???
I am so glad the Simpsons is the longest running tv show because it is the greatest TV show ever!!!

    I like a lot of Simpsons episodes.
    Especially the one where Homer goes to India and Mr Burns is all like, "SMITHERS, DID Y'KNOW I TOLD YOU SO HAS A BROTHER? HIS NAME IS SHUT THE HELL UP!"

    Lol that episode is funny.
    I also like the one when the simpsons look after Mr.Burn's mansion and Homer goes through that painting,when u think bout it its not that funny but i thought it was like the funniest thing in the world when i saw it for the first time,LOL!!!
